For Valentine's Danny made us a fabulous dinner of apricot chicken and asparagus and home-made artichoke dip. We then went to see Fool's Gold and came back to the apartment to have a delightful dessert of smores! Danny surprised me with cute new shoes, a juicy bracelet, and the DVD Northhanger Abby (my fav Jane Austen book and we missed the Masterpiece Theater premier of the movie). I love it! Thanks Danny for an awesome valentine's day! Thank you also to my fam for the awesome presents and cards. Danny and I love them!
A funny story...lately every sunday danny and i have been watching the Jane Austen special's on Master Piece theater. Recently they have been showing 2 parts of Pride and Prejudice. I was curious to see how Danny would like this long series and thought he would for sure hate it. Tonight was parts 3&4 (4 being my personal favorite) and after it ended Danny said, "You should have asked for Pride and Prejudice instead of Northhanger Abby." and then a few minutes later, "i wish they would just show the rest of the series!" I loved that he got into the movie! Guess i shouldn't be surprised considering his results from the quiz below! ha!

listen up. in my defense, it is impossible to spend four hours of one's life with Mr. Darcy and think him anything but the most amiable and dignified of all the men of england. and then to have one's opinion of the man augmented by his vast fortune of over ten thousand pounds a year with his handsome figure, it is impossible to think anything other than his being the most desirable of men. thus, i apologized not for my beliefs nor for my actions, only for the prejudice with which they were met.
I hope Chip and Kathey never read this. I apologize for Scott's choice of wording in that last comment. He was laughing the entire time he was writing it and I knew it couldn't be good!
