Seeing this in exactly 3 hours!

And I'm pretty excited. Admit it...most of you are doing the same tonight.

Does any one else wish they had the Gossip Girl wardrobe??

Perhaps I haven't changed at all since my freshman year of high school (see 10 years ago post). If I could fit into it, maybe my favorite outfit would still be the prep school plaid pleated skirt and blazer.

Even cute outfits for Danny!

What can I say? I'm a preppie at heart. And yes, I pop my collar.

Tour de Liz & Tour de San Fran

So this last weekend was our 2 Year Anniversary! Yippee! We made it! Danny and I didn't really plan anything but we had some ideas for fun stuff to do on Saturday. Unfortunately it rained which didn't work well with any of our ideas. So we decided to drive to San Ramon for a Tour de Liz (tour of my life..since that is where I grew up till I was 16). I love San Ramon in the rain so it turned out well. I'm pretty sure Danny thought the whole thing was so boring but he was going to get the tour sooner or later.

First we visited the old casa. I think she still looks pretty good. Although I am very upset the new owners took my playhouse down.

Next we drove around visiting my elementary school (go bulldogs!) and my high school (Go Grizzlies!) and even discovered that the Golden Skate is still there. Site to my first taste of rejection. Out of the 50 (this is an estimate) D.A.R.E skate nights I went to I never got asked to skate a couples skate..Sad times. I wanted Danny to couple skate with me but he refused.

Then we visited the mall, Blackhawk, and finally went to dinner here...

You may recognize it from here...

I've always wanted to go and the food is pretty good too.

Danny liked his!

The next day we went to visit Ryan, who is in town for this...

We went to dinner in North Beach...

Drove down Lombard street.

And got delicious ice cream sundaes

All in all it was a pretty darn good weekend!

First week of work went something like this...

J/k. But this is entirely what I was expecting. I was more nervous for my first day than I was for the interview.

So I thought about posting this last week because I was feeling pretty good about my new job but then I decided I better wait another day just in case it happened to be a fluke but alas…today has been pretty good as well. So far so good. Meet the new me…

Liz is a Consultant in Inforte’s Customer Management practice. Prior to software consulting, Liz has spent the majority of her career bringing organization, efficiency and accuracy to streamline processes. She has a B.S. in Business Management with emphasis in Corporate Finance from Brigham Young University. Liz is a Certified Salesforce.com Administrator and has advanced skills in MS excel. Her previous work experience has spanned all aspects of business including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, Product Design, and Purchasing. She has worked in a number of industries including Software Development, Electronics Manufacturing, and Home Building.

What do you think? I think it sounds pretty good. AND… it’s all true. This is part of my profile for our corporate website. Basically when a project comes up they go through the profiles and decide who is going to be staffed on what projects. So you want your profile to be good so you will be staffed on lots of projects and true so you don't make a fool of yourself. Lucky for me I was hired for a specific project so hopefully I won’t have to worry about this for a long while. :0)

I think my job is pretty cool. I just wish I had more to do.

Here's to working for the man!

She married him? Really? He must be funny...

Liz,

I know that you're a private person, but hand written letters are archaic. I just want to shout from a mountain top "Daniel Maxfield loves Liz Maxfield (I finally knew that you loved me when you changed your last name in October)," but I don't have a mountain. What I have is a computer, a computer with a blog.

Can you believe that it has been two years? Time goes by fast when you're having fun, right? I'm thankful to have you in my life for so many reasons. You help me want to be better than I am and to succeed. I have become a better person because of you. Sure I act like a kid sometimes, but I do it because I love making you laugh and smile. In those moments, with your smile and laughter, I find the joy of our marriage. It just all seems to make sense and fit together.

I love you, babe. I hope that you can always remember that.

Happy anniversary.

I heart you.

Danny
